Replacement Weinmann 19" front and 18" rear aluminum rims, laced to stock hubs with stainless-steel spokes by Buchanan’s, are fitted with Heidenau tires. The dual front disc brakes feature anodized and rebuilt calipers, a rebuilt master cylinder with a 17mm bore, a new fluid reservoir, and stainless-steel hoses. The rear drum brake was cleaned and fitted with EBC shoes. The fork and Koni shocks were rebuilt, including Progressive Suspension springs, a Boxerworks top triple clamp, Timken steering head bearings, and a stainless-steel steering head nut. The Magura Euro-style handlebar is mounted via risers framing an adjustment knob for the hydraulic steering damper. The dash houses a MotoMeter 140-mph speedometer and a matching tachometer with a 7,100-rpm redline, alongside indicator lights for brake failure, neutral gear, generator, oil pressure, and turn signals. The five-digit odometer shows 79k miles. Additional updates include new cables for the choke, throttle, clutch, speedometer, and tachometer, and a PIAA horn. The 898cc opposed twin engine features an electric starter, a Keihan stainless-steel dual exhaust system with a crossover tube, and dual Bing carburetors. Factory-rated output is 60 horsepower and 53 lb-ft of torque. During the 2011 refurbishment, the engine, frame, and steering headstock tag numbers were matched, confirming its authenticity.
